Sommarhus
Three generations of one family, one wooden house, and a summer that behaved exactly the way summers are supposed to in memory.

I was invited to document a family's last season in a house they had kept for sixty years. I stayed a fortnight and mostly stayed out of the way.
The best pictures came from mornings — someone reading on the porch, a swimsuit drying on a rail, the lake going flat before breakfast.
By the end I had stopped thinking of it as a commission. These are photographs of a place being said goodbye to, gently.
