Stockholm archipelago
The archipelago empties in October. What remains is water, rock, pine and a very small number of people who prefer it that way.
I worked from the deck of the same boat for three weeks, learning which stretches of the route gave me mist and which gave me glare.
Stillness is difficult to photograph without making it look like absence. This series is my closest attempt.
